FPM-380-P plane course grinding machine grinds work-piece surfaces by using abrasive-embedded tools. It features sand disc surface trimming and is suitable for rough grinding and polishing. Proper selection of consumables such as grinding fluid, polishing fluid and grinding discs is required. It is mainly used for grinding and polishing of FA and capillary fiber end-faces.

• Select proper consumables including polishing slurry, grinding slurryand grinding plate.
• The feed rate and surface trimming speed for rough and fine trimming are adjustable.
• The grinding timer can be set arbitrarily from 1 to 99 hours with cumulative timing function.
• Pressure is applied by the self-weight of grinding fixtures or counterweights.
• Up to 3 grinding fixtures can be loaded at one time to improve processing efficiency.
• Rough grinding is performed in two speed stages with independent speed setting for each stage.
• Grinding time is counted in minutes, with a maximum setting of 108 minutes.
• The flatness of the 50mm diameter grinding surface is less than 0.005 mm.
• Equipped with timing function; continuous working duration can be preset, and the equipment will stop automatically when time expires.

Working principle：

1. The polishing machine is a precision polishing equipment. The materials to be polished are placed on the polishing fixture. The polishing fixture rotates counterclockwise. The correction wheel drives the work-piece to rotate. The way of gravity pressure on the work-piece, work-piece and polishing fixture for relative operation friction, to achieve the purpose of polishing.
