Fiber ribbon clamp (also known as fiber ribbon alignment clamp or MPO ribbon fixture) is a dedicated clamping and positioning component used in the production of MPO/MMC pitch cord. It is designed to precisely position, fix and neatly restrain parallel arranged fiber ribbons such as 12-core, 16-core and 24-core types. Before fiber ribbons enter MT/TMT ferrules and during the assembly process, the clamp aligns multi-core fiber ribbons neatly, fixes their pitch and keeps them straight, providing a stable fiber arrangement reference for subsequent ferrule assembly and glue injection.

• Precise width tolerance of the positioning groove ensures standard core spacing and no height difference after the fiber ribbon is embedded.
• High straightness guarantees the fiber is straight throughout, avoiding eccentricity and fiber breakage when inserting into the ferrule.
• Uniform and moderate clamping force: it not only firmly restrains the fiber (no scattering during vibration/movement) but also does not damage the fiber coating/bare fiber.
• Creep resistance and deformation resistance: no deformation or loosening during high-temperature glue injection (around 120℃) and grinding under force, maintaining a constant fiber position.
• Compatible with single-mode/multi-mode fiber ribbons, 0.25mm standard fiber ribbons and thin fiber ribbons.
• Suitable for the full range of MPO/MMC connectors (12/16/24-core male/female heads), complying with IEC 61754-7 and TIA-604-5 standards.
• Supports automatic production lines and manual assembly, easy to pick and place, no fiber jamming, and high efficiency.
